Video Analysis Details

Includes a structured written report and a live consultation to discuss findings. Available to families anywhere.

How the Process Works

Step 1: Record & Submit

Submit up to 5 video clips, up to 20 minutes total using the secure upload link provided after purchase. Record with any device in private home settings only. An adult must be present, either visibly on camera or clearly identifiable by voice.

Most useful situations to record:

  • Parent-child interaction during play or everyday conversation
  • Routines such as cleanup, homework, or getting ready
  • A challenging moment — resistance, transitions, or frustration
  • Sibling interactions or mealtimes

A variety of shorter clips across different contexts gives the most complete picture. There is no need to stage anything.

Step 2: Structured Analysis & Written Report

Dr. Jung reviews the submitted recordings and analyzes behavioral responses, interaction dynamics, developmental expectations, and contextual factors. A structured written developmental report is delivered after analysis is complete.

Step 3: Live Consultation

A 60-minute live consultation is scheduled after the written report is delivered. You will receive a scheduling link to book your session, which must be scheduled within 14 days of report delivery. Available virtually via Zoom or in-person in the Mercer Island area.

Common Questions

What kinds of situations are most useful to record?
The most informative recordings tend to capture natural, unscripted moments — a mealtime conversation, a transition from one activity to another, a moment of resistance or frustration, sibling interaction, or play. There is no need to stage anything or wait for a specific behavior to occur. Everyday life provides the clearest picture.
What happens to my videos after submission?
Videos are stored in a private, secure folder accessible only to Dr. Jung and are never shared with third parties. They may be retained to allow for future developmental comparison unless a deletion request is received. You may request deletion at any time by emailing contact BrightEugene
Can video recorded in school settings be submitted?
To protect the privacy of others, only videos recorded in private home settings are accepted. School-based footage cannot be accepted.
Can siblings be included in the video?
Yes. Sibling interaction often provides valuable context. You are welcome to submit video where siblings are present.
What if my recordings slightly exceed the guidelines?
A slight overage is generally acceptable. That said, please aim to stay within 5 clips and 20 minutes total. A variety of shorter clips across different contexts is more useful than one extended recording of a single situation.
Do I need a Zoom account to join the consultation?
No. You do not need a Zoom account. Simply click the link included in your confirmation email at your scheduled time and you will be connected directly.
